First Time Buyer Tax Credit Extended

The last few days, everyone in Portland  has been wondering whether the tax credit will be extended. It Looks like we finally have an answer. Although it hasn’t passed yet, a new Senate proposal which has bipartisan support will extend the $8000 tax credit for first time buyers, who put homes under contract by April 30th, 2010. The tax credit will also be available for people who have lived in the same home for 5 years or more. More details to follow…
