It’s official….buyer’s tax credit extended for Portland home buyers

Good news Portland homebuyers, the first time buyer tax credit has been extended, and expanded. It’s not just for first time homebuyers anymore. If you have owned your home for 5 of the last 8 years, you are eligible for a tax credit up to $6500 when you purchase a home, as long as you are in contract by April 30th.

The $8000 first time tax credit is still avaialable for first time buyers in the Portland area.
