Sales activity in the Portland metro area showed marked improvement this December compared to the same month a year ago.
Closed sales in December were up 52.6% compared to last year and pending sales rose 40.9%. New listings also up 11.9%.
For 2009, the average sale price dropped 12.2% compared to 2008. the median price fell 11.2%
