Puppy Love

A few months after Joyce and I got married, we started visiting the Oregon Humane Society ’just to look” at puppies.

After a few weeks. we found a little cuddly puppy that we could not resist, and we adopted Teddy Bear (who we immediately renamed Kodi),  a ten week old 10 pound

German Shepherd Chow mix, that looked like a fluffy bear.

Parenting him has been a fulltime adventure.  After a month of sleep deprivation during puppy training, we hit the dog parks for socialization, the beach for play, and walks everywhere else in between.

A year later,  Kodi changed colors and turned into a big red dog who now weighs close to 100 pounds.  He is filling our home with an abundance of puppy love and more fun than we ever imagined.
