365 Things to do in Portland day 23- Check out The Energy Trust Better Living Show- This 3 day event showcases cutting edge technologies, earth friendly products for your home and garden, eco fashions, and sustainability. They have classes, workshops, some great gardening displays (one is on urban farming), healthy cooking classes, kids area (with workshops) and more.

For many people this event should be an easily accesible way to learn about moving towards a more sustainable lifestyle, although the ‘hands in the dirt’ eco activists among us may not like the heavy corporate involvement in this event.
For the festival schedule, exhibitor directory, directions to the Expo Center and more, just visit their website. This is a free event, but the Expo center charges for parking. You can also just take the yellow max line and avoid driving entirely.
