365 Things to do in Portland #110: Pix Patisserie

If you’re in the mood for some incredible dessert, Pix has you covered. This sweet shop brings European flair and edible art to Portland in the form of  deletable  handmade chocolates and pastries. they also serve dessert wines, Belgian Beers and ice cream.

Pix has two locations:

The first opened its doors at 3402 SE  Division Street in the Richmond neighborhood in 2003. This neighborhood sweet shop is cozy (small) and bright and likes to do fun events like make your own desert night.

The 2nd location is at 3901  North Williams around the corner from Mississippi. It’s bigger and fancier and you can watch the chefs make their treats in the kitchen through little windows. They also have free movies every Monday night.

Check out some of their fine desserts.  My absolute favorite treat at Pix is the Caramal Almond Truffle- Chocolate caramel ganache with salted Spanish almonds and a drop of gold dust. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the absolute perfect piece of chocolate

Have you ever been to Pix? Let everyone know what you think…
