365 Things to do in Portland #113: The Yarn Garden.

My sister is in town for a few days and she loves the Yarn Garden, and asked me to post about it, saying there were probably lots of yarners (is that a word) out there that would love to hear about it.

Yarn Garden is at 1413 SE Hawthorne. My sister says they have a great selection of yarns and always have a good sales selection. They have classes for all levels of knitters, charity projects, free clinics and even the occasional book signing. Debbie Bliss will be at the store in August, and apparently that is a really big deal, and Yarn Garden is one of her favorite yarn stores.

If you are a knitter, please let everyone know who you think of Yarn Garden.
Also for all you knitters out there, in case you were wondering, I’m a size medium.
