If you’ve ever driven up Belmont street in the Sunnyside neighborhood, you’ve probably noticed this beautful old painted Victorian House that is the Pied Cow Coffee House.

The eclectic Pied Cow offers some fantastic desserts, wine and beer, and if you are inclined- Hookah Pipes. They have a large heated outdoor area, that is absolutely packed in the summertime, and except for weekend nights, not too busy during the winter.
They have a small selection of foods for lunch- but mostly snacks like bread and cheeses, as they really specialize in desserts.
For the adventurous, they also offer Kava- which I truthfully found tasted disgustingly like mud and had no effect on me.
They are open until midnight during the week (and Sunday) and 1 am Friday and Saturday nights.
