Clinton- Division Street Fair and Richmond Garage Sale

It’s going to be a big weekend in the Clinton-Division neighborhood. This Saturday is the Division/Clinton Street Fair. The sunny forecast is bound to help the attendance on what’s already normally a pretty big event. This is my favorite of all the Portland Street Fairs, as they usually get pretty creative, and it often ends with dancing in the streets. Unfortunately, there is very little information about the street fair this year from the Divison/Clinton Business Assosication, so I can’t say what’s happening and when, other than the parade starts at 10:45 from 50th and Division and heads East. I believe  Sam Adams and Storm Large will be leading it. Here is a map of the Clinton-Division street Fair.  Hopefully it will end with the usual  street dancing on 26th and Clinton.

This weekend is also the Richmond neighborhood garage sales. Both Saturday and Sunday dozens of houses in the neighborhood will be hosting garage sales. It’s bound to be a busy weekend, so consider grabbing a backpack and bike trailer and biking to the sales instead of driving.  If you click the link for the street fair, you’ll also be able to see a map of houses that will be holding sales. There will however be many more than listed.
