Nob Hill is a historic NW Portland Neighborhood. It is probably Portland’s most well known and trendiest neighborhood in town. Situated between the Pearl District and the West Hills, Nob Hill is one of the few neighborhoods in town that you don’t even need to bike or car to comfortably live in. Don’t take that to mean there aren’t lots of cars though, as residents and shoppers can surely tell you, parking in the Nob Hill Neighborhood is a difficult proposition.
Nob Hill has a mix of comercial shopping, large apartment buildings, plexes and single family homes. NW 23rd and NW 21st Avenues are meccas for all things shopping- and will have some of Portland’s most exclusive stores and restaurants. These streets are literally year round shopping destinations and are generally on most Portland Guides top few places to visit.
