Hosford-Abernathy is an inner Southeast Portland Neighborhood. Due to it’s close-to downtown location, shopping on Division and Clinton Street, and beautiful older homes, it is a very popular area. Residents enjoy grocery shopping at New Seasons as well as People’s Food Coop, numerous restaurants, and a several local boutiques. Ladd’s addition is actually in Abernathy, and it is one of the oldest (and I think most beautiful) neighborhoods in Portland. When I’m showing homes for sale in the Albernathy neighborhood, I love to tour my clients through what I consider the heart of the neighorhood- 26th and Clinton, where you will see the Clinton Theater, Dot’s Cafe, Clinton Street Video, and a few cafes and boutiques- It doesn’t get much more charming than that. Abernathy is bordered by Richmond, Buckman and Brooklyn neighborhoods.
