If you’re interested in Mt. Tabor Real Estate and Mt. Tabor homes for sale, you’ve come to the right place. The Mt. Tabor neighborhood is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city. The Mt Tabor neighborhood is located in Southeast Portland and is near the Belmont, upper Hawthorne, South Tabor and Division (Richmond) neighborhoods. For the most part, the homes higher up on the west and east side of Mt. Tabor tend to be fairly expensive, while further eastside of Mt tabor is more affordable and typically has smaller homes. Climb the hill up Mount Tabor and you’ll have some stunning views with beautiful scenery and the Portland skyline off in the distance. Mt. Tabor park has miles of walking trails, a play ground, basketball court, and scenic drive loop.
This is a great neighborhood, close to Hawthorne and Belmont, but a little quieter and more removed. For a quick cup of coffee or snack you are very close to “upper” Hawthorne and Belmont , which have some stores and shops, but not as dense as the Heart of these neighborhoods.
If you’re a dog lover you will love Mt. Tabor since it has the best off leash dog park in the city, with hiking trails and tons of room to play.
